About Me:
I got into Triathlon after watching Hawaiian Ironman highlights on TV and decided to give it a go. Being sponsored at the beginning of my second season by Open Road Cycles helped out a lot with what is quite an expensive sport, allowing me to have the top end components such as my Giant TCR Trinity which is super quick!! If I am ever lacking motivation I head down to ORC and talk to the boys about racing or look at photos from Richards’ career and then I will be good to go again. I enjoy racing Criteriums and look forward to getting more into Road racing in the future. In the future I want to train for and compete in triathlons of all distances including Ironman, and balance study and work with a solid training and racing schedule. An inspiration for me outside of triathlon is Moto GP World Champion Valentino Rossi, his clinical and cold dismantling of his opponents and ability to stay cool and calm during a race are qualities a true champion possesses.
